So, I was playing Cookie Clicker today when I thought of "descending". It would be kind of like ascending, but you also lose all Heavenly Upgrades purchased AND all Prestige and instead would get Super Prestige, which would provide permanent superbuffs to your CpS, and Unheavenly Chips, which would be very similar to Heavenly Chips. This would be unlocked after ascending 3 times, and instead of cookies being converted into Heavenly Chips, your Heavenly Chips and Heavenly Cookies would be converted to Unheavenly Chips. When you descend, the cookie would, instead of exploding, slowly shrink out of existence, then an entirely new skill tree would pop up. Also, instead of you just being reincarnated, the entire universe would collapse and the button to leave the descendent skill tree would say "Create New Universe". Here are five of the upgrades that could be purchased:
1) Automatic Clickers: Gives you an automatic clicker that would click the cookie 5 times per second for you. These would be permanent and last through ascension and descension. You would be able to buy 5 more automatic clickers, up until Automatic Clicker F. Cost of Automatic Clicker A: 14 unheavenly chips, then for B, 140, then for C, 1400... you get the point.
2) Upgrade preservers: Like the Permanent Upgrade Slots in the ascendent skill tree, but these preserve Heavenly Upgrades instead of normal ones. Cost of 1 slot: 9 unheavenly chips, then 81, then 729, and you get the point again.
3) Deluxe Cookies: Lets Deluxe Cookies appear in your game. For the more detailed ideas, look at my other thread specifically for Deluxe Cookies: http://cookieclicker.wikia.com/wiki/Thread:93086
4) Elder upgrade preserver: Lets you keep all Heavenly Upgrades after descending. You could only buy this after buying all the Upgrade Preservers. Cost: 14 million unheavenly chips. After buying this, all Upgrade Preservers would disappear and you would be refunded all the unheavenly chips that you spent on them.
5) Superboosters: Gives you a Superbooster, which will let you multiply your CpS by 2 for a half hour, but then takes eight hours to cool down. You can also buy 3 more. Cost of the first one: 11 unheavenly chips, then 23, then 45, then 67.
Achievements: 10 normal, 2 shadow, 12 total
Restarter: Descend at least once.
The judgement days: Descend 10 times.
Everything old is new again: Descend 100 times. (Shadow Achievement) "Going backwards when forward fails."
Reboot: Descend with 10,000 heavenly chips. "It's all over."
Doomed: Descend with 100,000 heavenly chips. "You have reached the very end."
Transformation: Descend with 1 million heavenly chips. "Let's change this into what we really want it to be."
End of the world: Descend with 100 million heavenly chips. "It's the end... yeah... we're running out of flavor texts..."
Indeed I do say to crumbs: Descend with 1 billion heavenly chips. "Very well then... again."
Infinite void: Descend with 1 trillion heavenly chips. "Looking at what the universe used to be, it's now just a completely dark void of nothing."
The sacrifice: Descend with 1 quadrillion heavenly chips. "All cookies that are cookies must eventually be eaten, sacrificed for the progress of future cookie generations."
Grand finale: Descend with 1 quintillion heavenly chips. "It's the end of something, but nobody's clapping."
Good idea or maybe not: When the "Are you sure you want to descend" confirmation box comes up, say "No". "Reconsidering is fine, but you may want to eventually click "Yes"."
Seriously?: Descend with 1 decillion heavenly chips. (Shadow Achievement) "Okay."
Trivia: The "Everything old is new again" achievement and flavor text is a reference to the song of the same name, and the "The sacrifice" achievement is a Clicker Heroes reference. "The Sacrifice" is the name of the last upgrade of the hero "Yachiyl, The Primordial Soul" and the flavor text is an edited version of that upgrade's flavor text.
EDIT: The demon upgrades (after purchasing Twin Gates of Transcendence) would allow your automatic clickers to continue to click offline for as long as the upgrade allows.)
