Challenge Modes are a feature in Cookie Clicker. Currently, they are only available in the Cookie Clicker Beta. The purpose of Challenge Modes are so a player may impose a challenge upon themselves (hence the name). As of Beta v.1.907, only one Challenge Mode exists.
Challenges
Only one Challenge exists, called Born Again. In this Challenge Mode, Prestige Levels and Heavenly Upgrades are disabled, behaving as if the player started fresh. Neverclick, True Neverclick, the Speed Baking series, and Hardcore are only available in this mode.
