Krumblor the cookie dragon is a widget that was added in v1.9 of the game. By sacrificing cookies and buildings to Krumblor, the player will unlock selectable auras which provide various benefits in the game. An aura can be selected by clicking on the dragon. Switching auras costs one of the highest tier building owned.
To unlock Krumblor, the player must purchase the Heavenly Upgrade 'How to bake your dragon', which in turn unlocks the upgrade 'A crumbly egg' in all subsequent playthroughs.

Petting the Dragon[]
After the player purchases the Pet the dragon heavenly upgrade, it is possible to pet Krumblor (by clicking on the Krumblor's icon); this will trigger heart particles. If Krumblor has been leveled up beyond level 8 (after sacrificing 100 farms), every time it is pet there is a 5% chance to drop an upgrade.
The choice of dropped upgrade goes as follows: first, the game shuffles the list of available drops (Dragon scale, Dragon claw, Dragon fang, Dragon teddy bear) based on the game seed. Then, if the minute of the current time is between 0 and 14, the first upgrade of the shuffle is available for dropping (so if the 5% test passes, it is that upgrade that is dropped). If the minute is between 15 and 29, the second upgrade may be dropped, and so on.
Since the shuffle is based only on the game seed, to get all four drops, it is necessary to pet the dragon every quarter of an hour.
Note that the 5% is not affected by upgrades and effects that change random drop rates (like Cosmic Beginner's Luck and Keenmoss).
Strategy[]
If a player is going for the overall highest CPS boosts with auras, a combination of Breath of Milk and Radiant Appetite will produce the largest CPS increase (Note: At a point of around ~12,000 buildings and Grandmatriarchs at max stage, Elder Battalion and Radiant Appetite becomes superior to combination listed above). If a player is going for harvesting as many sugar lumps as possible, they should use a combination of Dragon's Curve and Reality Bending, as it reduces the maturation time and increases unusual lump rate the most.
This image shows the multiplier for the Breath of Milk dragon aura, based on the milk percentage and which kitten upgrades are active. The bottom line is the base multiplier, the next lines are the multiplier with Mokalsium, Mother Spirit at 5% or 10%. The lines for each kitten upgrade assume that all previous kitten upgrades are active as well. The base line assumes Santa's milk and cookies has been bought, but the 1.05 milk multiplier of Santa's milk would equal Mokalsium, Mother Spirit at 5%.
The overall effect of Dragon Cursor depends on how much the player clicks the Big Cookie, but as a rough estimate, with all upgrades, they will make approximately 1% more cookies at 2 clicks per second, 2% at 4 clicks per second, 3% at 10 clicks per second, 4% at 25 clicks per second, 4.5% at 55 clicks per second, and 4.9% at 300 clicks per second.
With optimal building distribution, Elder Battalion will give an overall very early game production increase of about 1%. It can increase total production in the early game by a 5 fold after the Grandmapocalypse. This will become less significant the further the player progresses in the game. The power of this aura won't be realized until you approach 12,000+ buildings owned, and by 15,000+, deep into the Grandmapocalypse, Elder Battalion dramatically outperforms Radiant Appetite. In addition, the aura can be used to quickly obtain the achievements "Gushing grannies" (bake 10 quintillion cookies with grandmas), "Panic at the bingo" (bake 100 septillion cookies with grandmas), and "Frantiquilities" (bake 1 decillion cookies with grandmas) quicker, due to having a larger general CpS buff to grandma CpS than Radiant Appetite, Dragon's Fortune, and Dragon Harvest.
The overall effect of Reaper of Fields has not yet been calculated. However, Dragon Harvest can be very good for combos, giving a 15 times boost, and 17 times with Dragon Fang, an upgrade which can be obtained by petting the dragon. This can only be done with the heavenly upgrade "Pet the dragon" (see above for more info). This makes it very viable to get more cookies, as you can use it to stack an extra golden cookie effect, allowing you to get more cookie from combos.
Earth Shatterer should be used before selling all buildings. This will help to give more cookies. As the rewards from chocolate egg are based off your current bank and are not affected by current CPS, this can help you maximize your cookie rewards from the chocolate egg, allowing you to gain more prestige and thus get more CPS in the next ascension.
The overall effect of Dragon God depends on the amount of prestige you have, as shown in this image on a log scale. This shows that Dragon God is most worth it to use at around 10000 prestige, where Dragon God begins to reach its maximum of 5%.
The overall effect of Arcane Aura has not yet been calculated. A rough estimate is about 5% for active play. Arcane Aura can also be used to farm golden clicks.
A rough estimate of Dragonflight is a 150% increase in click-based production, which translates roughly to a 20% increase at 1 click per second, 35% at 2 clicks per second, 50% at 3 clicks per second, 60% at 4 clicks per second, 80% at 7 clicks per second, 100% at 13 clicks per second, and 120% at 25 clicks per second. It gives x1223 cookies per click with Dragons Fang, making it a good option for combos. However, it is very hard to stack with click frenzy.
Ancestral Metamorphosis and Unholy Dominion only affect Lucky and Chain cookies, which means their effects reduce fairly quickly with an active playstyle. The benefit of Ancestral Metamorphosis drops from about 8% with an idle playstyle, to 5% at 4 clicks per second, to 3% at 10 clicks per second, to 2% at 20 clicks per second, to 1% at 45 clicks per second.
The overall effect of Epoch Manipulator has not yet been calculated. A rough estimate is about 5%. This can be used during a combo, helping to increase combo effect time and thus gained cookies.
Radiant Appetite has a flat 100% bonus to all production. It easily produces the largest boost in production out of all the auras, excluding elder battalion.
Dragon's Fortune can grant a multiplier of over 2 with one golden cookie on the screen. This can be coupled well with Force The Hand Of Fate. It is however risky to have this, due to golden cookies not being truly "permanent", in fact the bonuses can last not more than two or three times a Dragonflight, giving much less of a multiplier. It is still possible to force many golden cookies, find a Dragonflight cookie, and have a Dragonflight twice or even thrice as powerful as a regular one.
Dragon's Curve only affects sugar lumps, but they can be used to buy various improvements. See sugar lump strategy. This can be used to get special lump types. Which include caramelized sugar lumps and golden sugar lumps. Caramelized lumps allow sugar lump cooldowns to be refreshed, allowing spells to be cast multiple times, which increases cookie gain from combos. They also give 1-3 lumps upon harvesting, helping to save at least a day and a half of waiting if 3 lumps are harvested. Golden lumps however, give 24 hours of CPS when harvested (although capped at twice of your bank). They also give an effect (known as Sugar Blessing) that increases the rate of golden cookies spawning by 10%. In addition, they give 2-7 lumps when harvested, helping to save nearly a week worth of waiting if 7 lumps are harvested.
Reality Bending has many effects, and may depend on the 2nd aura. The overall effects have not yet been calculated.
Dragon Orbs can manually start a combo at any time. Dragon Orbs are also used for a strategy known as Dragon Orbs Ascend Spam Skruuia Chain Lengthening Golden Cookie Click Farming (DO ASS CLGCF). It revolves around using Skruuia in the Pantheon, summoning a Wrath Cookie, and then clicking it, hoping that it triggers a cookie chain. This is often used for achievements that require a lot of Golden Cookies to be clicked in order for them to be obtained, for example Black Cat's Paw and Seven Horseshoes.
Supreme Intellect can increase the yield from minigames but also increases the risk and penalties.
Dragon Guts increases the bonus cookies generated by popping Wrinklers, it is almost comparable to Radiant Appetite in terms of idle CpS.

Notes[]
- ↑ Sacrificing grandmas fulfills the unlock condition of the "Just Wrong" achievement.
- ↑ 2.0 2.1 Having the aura Reality Bending active alongside this aura doesn't improve the chances of the golden cookie outcome.
- ↑ This upgrade affects the effect duration of Golden and Wrath cookies, and not the on-screen duration.
- ↑ This affects garden upgrade drops, eggs during easter, and flavored seasonal cookies from Halloween and Christmas.
- ↑ This does not include the golden cookies created by a cookie storm.
- ↑ The minigame information can be accessed via a dragon head icon () under each minigame. Reality Bending does not display information boxes when selected alone, but it does provide a boost as long as Supreme Intellect is unlocked. If both auras are selected, the values in the information boxes change accordingly.

- The upgrade "How to bake your dragon" is a reference to the book (and subsequent movie) "How to Train your Dragon" by Cressida Cowell.
- The aura "Dragon's Curve" is a reference to the family of fractals of the same name.
- The aura "Dragon Orbs" is a reference to the Dragon Ball series of anime and manga.
- The reference was likely made due to the resemblance of the Idleverse's icon to the titular "Dragon Balls" of the Japanese franchise.
- This relation likely also served as inspiration for the aura's effect, as one who collects the Dragon Balls is then granted a wish by a dragon.
- The achievement "Here be dragon" is a reference to the phrase here be dragons.
- The "Dragon Claw" random drop's description is a reference to "Jurassic Park", in which paleontologist Alan Grant describes a Velociraptor claw to a child.
