The Temple is the seventh building in Cookie Clicker Beta and will be added in the next update. It costs 28 million to buy and makes 15,000 cookies per second with no upgrades.

Upgrades
Cookie Clicker Beta is a testing version of the game that allows players to try some of the upcoming features, and then give feedback to Orteil about the update. The beta, the browser version and the Steam version are all currently running version 2.052.
To acquire the beta, one must, in-game, click "Try the beta!" under the "Other versions" dropdown at the top-right corner of the page. To return to the main game, the user must click "Live version" under the "Other versions" dropdown again.
Beta versions implement experimental features which may or may not be implemented later in the live version. A notable beta version is the Dungeons beta, which adds four new achievements, related to dungeons (see more down below).
The live version is currently updated with the latest beta features, though features from the dungeons beta remain unimplemented.

The achievement "Church of Cookiology" is a reference to the real world Church of Scientology.
